Rossalm

The Rossalm lies immediately above the valley station of the Stubnerkogel cable-car in Bad Gastein. It is easily accessible on the descent from the Stubnerkogel, or on foot, only a few minutes from the car park.

Enjoy coffee or lunch on the large sun terrace with a view over Gastein's mountain panorama.

The Rossalm combines traditional wooden building with contemporary architecture. Built in 2010 to plans designed by Kühn Malvezzi, it stands beside the meadows where the horses from the Wetzlgut resort graze in summer – hence the name Rossalm [Ross = horse, Alm = Alpine pasture].
